In 2003 i started a serie called “Positions”. The aim was to use the same samples in different
declinations and create tracks by this way.
The first result was “Positions 1 to 5” composed by only using sounds collected during travels
in India and Morocco. For the latest released “Positions 6 to 8” created on 2004, i only used
samples found on my computer and that i never used to compose a track to make three new
compositions.
Now i would like to involve more people on that serie.
If you want to create your own position :
- You must use those samples to create tracks and those samples only
- Feel free to manipulate, transform, destroy, rearrange them at your taste
- Composition name will be a number in order as i'll receive it + your own title
- All tracks have to be encoded in MP3 256kbps
- All positions will be distribute under this Creative Commons Licence
- Deadline to send your work is 11.30.2004.
